Living in Grace Support Homes

Grace Support Homes is a detached property in the suburbia of South Croydon. The property has 8-bedrooms, inclusive of 4 en-suites.

Despite its grand size, Grace Support Homes offers service users a comfortable, safe and friendly environment.

The home is set over 3 floors, consisting of communal bathrooms, shower rooms, and toilets with communal areas for services users to socialise including a lounge and kitchen/dining area.

All bedrooms are decorated to each individual’s preference, to provide services users with a homely feel and a greater sense of ownership of their space.

Bedrooms are allocated according to services users’ specific needs. The bedrooms on the bottom floor are allocated to services users with physical disabilities or those who struggle with mobility. The property also has a large garden, where many activities such as outdoor games and picnics take place, especially during the summer time.

Grace Support Homes is close to a variety of local amenities such as shops, restaurants, pubs, and parks. There are also excellent transport links into central London, Croydon and Brighton, convenient for planned day trips.

What We Offer

At Grace Support Homes we ensure that service users are supported in such a way where each individual fulfils their maximum potential, despite mental or physical challenges.

We provide personal support with tasks for example, getting dressed and preparing meals. We encourage confidence in decision making and we equip services users with skills that they can use day to day, promoting further independence.

We also provide engaging activities in-house such as Arts & Crafts, Cookery Club, board games and creative writing. Service users are also encouraged to attend the local day centre, as they offer a range of activities: indoor swimming, Line Dance, seated exercise or Zumba class.

We believe these activities are greatly beneficial in promoting a sense of self-worth and mental stimulation.
